A Change Of Attitude

I pray my blogs have been a blessing to many of the readers who have written to me about various topics. These topics are not mine but the spirit of God through me, writing has never been my forte , but through God I have learned to share what is on my heart that it may become a blessing to someone. Today God spoke to me in a way like never before. We are currently studying how to reach your full potential in God. This series is a very powerful and challenges teaching because I discovered that many people live the so-called “settle-life”. In other words they feel they have reached a plateau, feel this is all God has for them, and they begin to settle in everything . They settle with their finances, relationships, friendships, etc., and never discover the potential God has created in them for His purpose.

On yesterday, I talked with a good friend of mine who has been going through his season. I asked him this question, “please tell me what I did to you for you to treat me like you have? I have always been there for you and never one in my life treated you the way you have treated me, why?” I told him, “I am true to what I am and that’s according to the Word of God”. He replied, “It’s not you, I am just going through and I know it’s wrong.” I could hear the remble in his voice and the cry of hurt. I told him, “Man, I will always be there for you because we are friends and no matter what happens we cannot shut those who God has placed in our life, for they are in our life for a reason.”

My brothers and sisters, please hear me. God knows what He is doing and He provides what we need. We often shout out what He has placed in our life; we ignore, mistreat and even shutout the people who He sends to love on us during our seasons. If this is you, I pray you will allow those people that have been reaching out to you to restore the genuine love they have for you. Trust me when I tell you the enemy wants us to be shackled. This is his job and he is good at it, but the Psalmist says, “We are fearfully and wonderfully made”
